Train Fast. Stay Sharp. Live Powerfully.

Mobile specialized performance training designed to help adults 55+ maintain the power, balance, speed, and reaction time needed to live life on their terms.

Because these abilities don’t stay on their own.

The Quiet Decline

How strength, power, balance, and reaction time gradually change over time.

Strength, power and reaction time don’t disappear overnight. They decline gradually – often without obvious warning signs.

They are the result of small changes that go unaddressed over time. These changes don’t stop on their own.

By the time something feels “off”, the underlying decline has already been happening for years.

Most programs respond after a problem occurs.

Our focus is on maintaining and building the physical abilities that prevent those problems in the first place.

Meet Your PT

Brian Richards, PT, DPT, is the founder of Peak Longevity PT and a specialist in neuromuscular performance training for active older adults.

Brian completed his Geriatric Physical Therapy Residency at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center – one of the most rigorous clinical training pathways available in geriatric care. But his passion has always extended beyond traditional rehabilitation. He built Peak Longevity PT around a simple belief: that adults 55+ are capable of far more than most programs ask of them.

Every session is built around the science of how the aging neuromuscular system actually works – and what it takes to keep it fast, strong, and reactive for decades to come. Brian lives in the Broadview Heights area and serves clients throughout Northeast Ohio

Specialized Training for the Aging Body

Built specifically for adults who refuse to accept decline as inevitable

Specialized Provider

Every session is led by a Doctor of Physical Therapy Brian Richards. He completed a Geriatric Physical Therapy Residency at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center and has further specialized in neuromuscular performance training.

Professional-Grade Training

Advanced strength, balance, and reactive training equipment is brought directly to your home – allowing true progressive overload, dynamic balance, and agility training to stimulate max neuromuscular potential.

Designed for Real Change

Training does not stop when insurance says so. We understand that high level physical performance requires an extended time horizon of highly specialized training.

Peak Longevity is not Traditional PT

Peak Longevity is designed for individuals who want more than a class, basic exercise or short term rehab

This is specialized training to maximize performance for the older adult.

This training will develop not only your strength, but also your speed, reaction time, power and agility which will best prepare your body for the decades to come.

All delivered one-on-one, in your home

Traditional PT is short term and reactive. Peak Longevity is exactly the opposite.

How It Works

We Train for the Demands of Real Life

1. Initial Performance Testing: performed on the first visit. I will measure your strength, balance, movement, gait, agility and reaction time to determine training techniques.

2. Neuromuscular Performance Training (SPARK): provided at all follow up visits. Training to match current performance with weekly progressions to stimulate the body for growth.

3. Performance Tracking: performed on bi-monthly basis to track progress and additional areas to address

4. Home Exercise Programming: If safe, an individual neuromuscular program will be provided to you to complete between sessions to maximize effects of training.
